It is designed for short-term use and is ideal for patient transport and emergency use. It provides incredible convenienece by eliminating the need for two separate devices. It gets activated by "first breath"; it works without any warm-up time needed, simply turn it on and start the measurements. Calibration for the device is not necessary.
