The HeartCheck PEN HCEKGPEN30 from CardioComm Solutions, is an over-the-counter portable ECG heart monitor.
The device, which is slightly larger than a regular writing pen, measures heart rhythms by having the user hold the device by its metal electrodes using two thumbs and two index fingers.
The PEN is controlled by four push buttons (Scroll Right, Scroll Left, Power/Select, Start) and the results are displayed on a 1-in.
OLED with 128 x 64 resolution (128 x 16 yellow matrix on top & 128 x 48 light-blue matrix on bottom).
The HeartCheck PEN uses a Microchip 16-bit flash microcontroller and stores up to 20 readings which can be downloaded to a computer using a USB connector and the GEMS Software.
The readings can then be shared with your physician or sent to the HeartCheck ECG center for viewing and analysis.
