The sturdy handrails can be grasped easily to help steady the user while still providing an accurate measurement. Efficient alkaline battery power (six C-cell batteries included) is designed to last over 80,000 measurements and provides a quick 2 second weight measurement under normal conditions.
Calibration can be done with any sure weight over 100 lbs. Additional features include auto zero, automatic tare and stored tare, as well as programmable settings including auto-off time, "always-on" option, audible beep, and lb. or kg. lockout.
