Lode Brachumera Sport Arm Ergometer With Pedal Force Measure

The Brachumera Sport is a modern, high-performance arm ergometer designed for advanced sports medicine and elite athletic testing.

It can be operated manually or controlled by external systems and is widely used in Olympic and professional sports where upper-body strength and endurance are critical, such as kayaking and swimming.

The ergometer delivers precise, cadence-independent workloads up to 2500 watts, supporting demanding anaerobic and isokinetic performance testing.

This configuration includes integrated Pedal Force Measurement (PFM) technology, enabling detailed analysis of force balance, stroke efficiency, and movement symmetry.

Modified strain gauge technology with angle detection measures forces applied to the pedals throughout each crank rotation, with independent left and right crank measurements.

Data is transmitted wirelessly to a PC via Bluetooth for real-time analysis and reporting.

The system connects to Lode Ergometry Manager software for protocol creation, execution, and data management.

The PFM system captures pedal forces every 2 degrees of crank rotation, providing highly detailed insight into force application across the full movement cycle.

This allows clinicians and performance specialists to identify asymmetries, monitor rehabilitation progress, and evaluate performance changes across different workloads.

Specialized analysis tools and polar graph visualizations are included for in-depth interpretation of results.

The system is supplied as standard with Lode Ergometry Manager software including the PFM module, a dedicated PC (recommended for exclusive use with the LEM software), and the required ergometer-to-PC interface cable.

Optional LEM extension modules are available to further expand functionality.
